Alison Dias. 17. Hong Kong. Photography. Film. That's pretty much the need-to-know basics of my life. Why add Photography and Film to that list you ask? Well because if it isn't already obvious, it's my life. It's who I am. My passion for creating visual content is what drives me. Creativity it's the breakfast in the morning to the sleeping pills at night. Without it I wouldn't be who I am.

Ever since I got my first DSLR, I havent been able to put my camera down. Metaphorically of course. It can really strain your neck if you leave it hanging for a while. Trust me, I would know. Back to the point, I take modern influence. It's strange, films aren't really my thing. I mean don't get me wrong I love all the hollywood glam but it seems to just be the same everytime. It's not raw, it's not real. It's not capturing peoples lives. That's what I want to do. Raise awareness of what we face in real life, I wan't to capture the moments that pass by when you're day dreaming your time away in your classroom, or when you're staring into the abyss of life.

Photography and writing have been a great hobby of mine. It helps me emmencely with my films. Sometimes I can have the biggest creative block. But it's those moments in the shower, or on bus rides or going for walks, or at 3 in the morning that my mind lights up with ideas. I believe that I see things differently than other people, that I believe that there are more possibilities to what something could be, because everything is more than they seem to be. At least to me.
